Ring in 2024 with New Year’s Festival Dublin (NYF Dublin), Ireland’s biggest New Year Celebration. 

Gather together in the heart of Dublin with your family and friends as the city comes alive over 4 days with a host of spectacular events taking place across the city from 29th December 2023 through to 1 January 2024.   

Bringing together some of the country’s best talents, New Year’s Festival Dublin offers you a host of entertainment and events for all ages guaranteed to engage, entertain and excite! Be amazed by the world class countdown spectacular ring in the New Year at the Countdown Concert and the earlier countdown event for families. Enjoy music, food and entertainment for all ages at the Festival Quarter at Collins Barracks and kick-start the new year in style at the New Year’s Day Concert. 

This year, you can experience New Year’s Festival Dublin in three stunning locations including two of Dublin’s most unique and historic venues – Dublin Castle and the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts & History, Collins Barracks along with Temple Bar’s Meeting House Square.

1: NATIONAL MUSEUM OF IRELAND, COLLINS BARRACKS

29, 30 & 31 December 2023 

New this year, New Year’s Festival Dublin’s Festival Quarter will become a hive of activity from early until late at The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks. Soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy live entertainment including music, DJ’s, food and pop up street performances.  Full lineup details to be announced soon.

2: DUBLIN CASTLE 

30 & 31 DECEMBER 2023 

01 JANUARY 2024

Kicking off on Saturday, 30 December, Dublin Castle will host New Year’s Festival Dublin’s headline concerts with a stellar lineup to be announced, across 3 days.  

Get ready for a New Year’s Eve to remember!  

Share a magical moment at New Year’s Festival Dublin together with family and friends at the very special earlier family friendly countdown event for all ages – featuring live performances. Children will be enchanted as they ring in the new year in the stunning surroundings of Dublin Castle with some of Ireland’s best musicians.  

Festival goers can ring in 2024 in style at the Countdown Concert and share a spectacular midnight moment with critically acclaimed musicians – Irish and International artists such as Westlife, Madness, Kodaline, Gavin James have all wow’d the NYF Dublin audiences in previous years. The Countdown Concert starts at 8pm with excitement building to a crescendo as the clock strikes 12. Welcome 2024 in spectacular fashion and celebrate a stunning memorable Midnight Moment.  

On New Year’s Day, festival goers can return to the beautiful surrounds of Dublin Castle to enjoy a jam packed afternoon of Free live music.

3) MEETING HOUSE SQUARE

Kick start 2024 in style, come and see some of Ireland’s best musicians with your family and friends for a New Year’s Day celebration to remember. Enjoy performances from our great live performers and enjoy the fun-filled and family friendly festivities. The  New Year’s Day Celebrations Concert is one of the highlights of New Year’s Festival Dublin each year and has featured live performances from Kila, Wyvern Lingo, Cormac Begley, Clare Sands, Liam Ó Maonlaí and many more.
