Beoga Family Trad Gig

Date: 1st January

Place: Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, Dublin 1

Time: 12pm – 1pm

Beoga (Irish for ‘lively’) have become one of the most exciting, popular and influential groups in modern traditional Irish music. The foundation of their sound is firmly within the Irish tradition; however they daringly and cleverly incorporate lots of other sounds and influences into their enthralling music. You will hear flavours of blues, tango and even New Orleans jazz, all beautifully crafted and woven into a very recognizably Irish sound.

This family performance features the twin duelling accordions of Damian McKee and multi-instrumentalist Seán Óg Graham, pianist Liam Bradley, four times All-Ireland bodhrán champion Eamon Murray and Niamh Dunne on vocals and fiddle.

Beoga is presented with Tradfest in partnership with NYF Dublin.
